Vendor Readiness.

A structured supplement to a digital vendor application: what Digital Tap does, how it handles data, and how it reports. Sections still awaiting confirmed detail are marked rather than filled in — nothing on this page is estimated.

01Company Overview

Digital Tap LLC is an automotive marketing intelligence and performance reporting company, founded in 2021. It manages and reports on paid search, paid social, organic search and website analytics for dealerships and dealer groups, and presents that activity as a single performance picture rather than four disconnected platform reports.

Digital Tap currently manages advertising and analytics across 11 dealership rooftops and 23 connected advertising and analytics accounts. The company is run by a small dedicated team led by its founder, who has spent 15 years in dealership marketing.

 • Founded: 2021
 • Structure: small dedicated team, owner-led
 • Current scope: 11 rooftops, 23 connected accounts, four platforms
02Automotive Experience

15 years in dealership and automotive marketing, from both sides of the relationship — as marketing director for a dealer group, and on the agency and vendor side managing dealership accounts. That combination is the reason this company reports the way it does: it has had to answer to a dealer principal for a number, and it has had to produce one.

 • Marketing director for a multi-rooftop dealer group
 • Agency- and vendor-side management of dealership advertising accounts
 • Franchise and used-vehicle advertising across domestic and import rooftops, including CDJR stores
 • Multi-rooftop group reporting and cross-store budget comparison
 • Fixed-operations and service advertising alongside variable operations
 • Coordination with existing dealership website, CRM and inventory vendors

OEM co-op programs worked within: Stellantis / FCA, GM / Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota / Nissan. Four manufacturers’ co-op rules, claim processes and creative requirements — not one.

03Services
 • Google Ads — Search, Performance Max, Vehicle Ads
 • Meta advertising — prospecting, lead campaigns, remarketing, brand events
 • Search engine optimization and organic visibility reporting
 • Analytics — configuration and cross-channel performance reporting
 • Website management
 • OTT — connected-television advertising
 • OLV — online video advertising

Scope note: the performance reporting published on this site covers the four platforms with connected API access — Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. OTT and OLV are delivered services; no performance figures for them are published here, because no reporting API for them is connected.

04Reporting Methodology

Six steps applied identically to every account: collect, normalize, compare, identify, interpret, act. The full method — including what it explicitly refuses to do — is published at /methodology.

Every published figure carries its source, its reporting period and the date it was pulled. Periods that have not finished are marked partial and excluded from trend statements.

05Google Ads Capabilities
 • Campaign, ad group, ad and keyword level management and reporting
 • Search, Performance Max and Vehicle Ads campaign types
 • Search term review, negative keyword management, budget and bidding management
 • Conversion action configuration and conversion-level reporting
 • Impression share, device, network and time-segment analysis
 • Year-over-year comparison where prior-year account history exists
06Meta Advertising Capabilities
 • Campaign, ad set and ad level management and reporting
 • Lead, traffic, engagement and remarketing objectives
 • Audience construction, including custom and lookalike audiences
 • Creative-level and placement-level performance breakdowns
 • Reach, frequency, landing page view and cost-per-lead reporting
07SEO Capabilities
 • Search Console query, page, device and date-level reporting
 • Organic click, impression, click-through rate and average position tracking
 • Organic traffic segmentation inside Google Analytics 4
 • Technical and content review of dealership website pages

Organic figures are reported only for properties where a verified Search Console property exists. Where it does not, organic performance is described through analytics traffic segmentation and labelled as such.

08Analytics
 • Google Analytics 4 property review and event verification
 • Session, user, engagement and event reporting by source and medium
 • Verification that a conversion event exists and fires before it is ever reported
 • Funnel and landing-page behaviour analysis
09Data Sources

All reported figures originate from platform APIs — Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API, Google Analytics Data API and Google Search Console API — accessed through accounts to which Digital Tap has been granted access by the dealership.

No figure on this website or in a client report is manually keyed, estimated or carried forward from a previous period.

10Reporting Workflow

Data is re-pulled on a rolling schedule, aggregated, checked against the previous pull, and released only once every figure traces to a live API response. Anything that cannot be re-verified is removed rather than restated.

What clients receive:

 • A monthly performance report per rooftop, with group roll-up where applicable
 • Always-on dashboard access — current numbers any time, not only on report day

The public performance figures on this site are produced by that same pipeline, over a stated reporting period, and are republished when the period is extended.

11Dealer Group Capability

Reporting is built rooftop-first and rolls up to the group without re-keying. A group view compares spend, conversions, cost per conversion, clicks and social engagement across rooftops on the same window and the same definitions.

Current scope: 11 rooftops across two managed client portfolios, 23 connected advertising and analytics accounts.

12Data Handling
 • Client advertising and analytics data is used solely to manage and report on that client’s marketing.
 • Aggregated or anonymized figures may be used to demonstrate capability, with client identity withheld — as on this website.
 • No client data is sold, licensed or shared with third parties.

Awaiting confirmation: formal data retention period and the list of subprocessors. This section publishes only verified facts — nothing here is estimated or inferred, so the detail is held back until it is confirmed.

13Permissions

The dealership owns its advertising and analytics accounts. Digital Tap operates inside them by granted access. Nothing is run out of an agency-owned account that the store would lose on separation — the account, its history and its conversion data stay with the dealership.

Digital Tap operates inside dealership-owned accounts wherever possible, with access granted at the permission level the task requires. Account ownership stays with the dealership, and access can be revoked by the dealership at any time without loss of the dealership’s historical data.

14Security Approach

Access is granted by the dealership into dealership-owned accounts and is scoped to the accounts a given engagement covers. Access can be revoked by the store at any time without loss of its historical data.

Awaiting confirmation: the written multi-factor authentication, credential-management and device policy. These are being documented for vendor review rather than described loosely here. This section publishes only verified facts — nothing here is estimated or inferred, so the detail is held back until it is confirmed.

15Implementation

A new-store onboarding runs in four steps:

 • Access — permissions granted into the dealership’s own advertising and analytics accounts
 • Audit — account structure and conversion tracking are verified before anything is reported. A conversion event that does not fire is found here, not three months later
 • Baseline — a first pull establishes the starting position, and the reporting structure is agreed with the store
 • Live — first reporting cycle delivered, dashboard access opened

Timelines are not quoted as a fixed number because step two genuinely varies: a store arriving with clean tracking moves quickly, and one arriving with broken conversion tracking should not be rushed past it.

16Account Management

Digital Tap is run by a small dedicated team, owner-led. A store deals with people who know its accounts rather than a rotating queue.

Awaiting confirmation: the formal day-to-day contact structure and escalation path. This section publishes only verified facts — nothing here is estimated or inferred, so the detail is held back until it is confirmed.

17Support

Extended hours, including evenings and weekends. Dealerships sell on Saturdays and run campaigns through weekends; support that stops at 5pm Friday does not match how a store actually operates.

Booking a time is the fastest route for anything scheduled; the published address covers written enquiries.

Awaiting confirmation: a formally committed response-time service level. This section publishes only verified facts — nothing here is estimated or inferred, so the detail is held back until it is confirmed.

18Documentation

Methodology, data sources and disclosure language are published on this site and available on request in document form for vendor review.

19Scalability

The reporting structure is account-driven rather than store-specific: adding a rooftop means connecting its accounts, not rebuilding a report. The same pipeline currently runs across 23 accounts and four platforms, and the public figures on this site are generated from it.

Awaiting confirmation: formal capacity commitments for a larger rooftop count. This section publishes only verified facts — nothing here is estimated or inferred, so the detail is held back until it is confirmed.

20OEM Partnership Philosophy

An OEM program depends on vendors reporting the same things the same way. Digital Tap’s position is that a vendor should be able to show where every number came from, decline to publish one it cannot support, and be as clear about what did not work as about what did.

Digital Tap intends to operate inside OEM standards, processes and documentation requirements rather than around them.
